A Peaceful Gathering for Native Women

When was the last time you looked after yourself? Didn't worry about the kids yelling at each other in the back yard? Feel exhausted after the sisters' leave from their visit? Sitting in the boss' office wondering when the meeting will end, because you have deadlines?

Answering, "Yes!" to any of these questions, almost certainly means, you need some time to focus on nurturing yourself and regaining your balance: in life and career.

The "Native Women's Wellness Retreat" is an annual event held in November. This Retreat was created for "Community Women Helpers" and "Women in Wellness" (as a sister, aunty, grandma and/or community member who is called upon, all the time…to lead, organize and call the shots). We know every community has Native Women who put themselves out there to help & support their people.  This event offers you with the same help and support you give, all through a specially designed program for Native Women with Native themes.

Smudge Hands Women

At the gathering you will experience a feeling of awe and inspiration when you look around the room, and see passionate, engaged women who are there for the same reason as you, to refocus and rejuvenate into your everyday life.

The first Women's Retreat was completed in November 2009, attracting many Native Women from all across Canada, healing and retreating to a wonderful event for Women only. At the gathering you will find a network of people like yourself enjoying the company of old friends, with the possibility of making new ones.

Join the women attending this year's event, in the scenic and fun city of Calgary, where you'll be in the spotlight. Gain balance, rejuvenate your energy, learn powerful and proven techniques where our entire purpose is helping you! A transformation into Peace, Love and Harmony!
